Technical Specification for Armor-Seal and Heavy Duty Grade products
The Armor-Seal Grade colour is RED and the Heavy Duty is SANDY
Each Grade has an indefinite shelf life
These products are supplied in convenient to use 20 Litre pails. Larger
container volumes can be supplied on request.
These Sealants will not stick the tyre to the wheel rim and therefore
can be easily removed from the tyre with cold water using normal tap
water pressures. Conventional tyre repair procedures and tyre re-treading
will not be affected.
Both sealants are corrosion resistant for ferrous and yellow metals. Freezing point is -30 degrees Farenheit or -34 degrees Centigrade and Boiling point 250 degrees Farenheit.
A COSHH Substance Report and Risk Assessment Sheets for these Sealants
are available on request. Care must be taken during installation, preferably
wearing safety glasses, to avoid the possibility of the product being
splashed into the eyes, or swallowed. If it does happen, get medical
attention immediately.
The installation procedure is simple and usually completed within a
short time. A comprehensive Installation Manual is supplied with a Chart
which details the amount of tyre sealant necessary for any combination
of tyre sizes. On site demonstrations which will prove the effectiveness
of this technology can be arranged on request subject to a mutually
convenient location and circumstances.
A specially engineered all metal pump is provided which dispenses a
measured amount of product for each stroke to ensure the correct amount
of sealant is installed according to the tyre being treated.
The pump will have a long service life if maintained as recommended.
