The team at Air-Seal are coming together to take part in their first charity event of the year. They will each walk 28 miles throughout the month of February to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. This is a dedicated 28 miles outside of their normal day-to-day activity to support the charity.

Alzheimer’s Research UK believes in the power of research to change the future. Their mission is to bring about the first life-changing dementia treatment by 2025, with the vision of a world where people are free from the fear, harm, and heartbreak of dementia. Without effective treatments, one in three children born today, will die with dementia.

The charity is only able to fund ground-breaking research projects because of the amazing fundraising our supporters conduct yearly. A current project is the Early Detection of Neurodegenerative Diseases initiative, which aims to detect dementia years before they start. You can read more about this ambitious project here.

Air-Seal have been personally affected by this degenerative disease with close friends and family members suffering with dementia. The whole team has come together to support those in need and rise to the 28 mile challenge.

The team at Air-Seal Products would like to wish all our customers a Happy New Year.

Wishing everybody a successful, happy and safe 2022.

A challenging decision has been made, due to the significant increase in the uncertainty  of COVID-19 regulations in the UK, and throughout Europe, to cancel the LAMMA event in January. The event will now be held on the 4th & 5th May 2022. 

So postponed not cancelled. We look forward to seeing you all in May at the NEC, Birmingham.

Air-Seal Products were delighted to attend the Saltex Show earlier this month and it didn’t disappoint!  From the minute the doors opened the customers old and new flocked to our stand and the demo wheel was certainly put to good use, showing just how effective our product is.

Thank you to all who visited us, it was great to see our regular customers, putting names to faces and we are very much looking forward to getting to know our new customers and helping them with their puncture problems.

Kuwait recycling 42 million dumped tyres. 17 years of dumping has amassed a “tyre graveyard” over 42 million vehicle tyres in Kuwait. According to EuroNews.Green, this has resulted in clouds of toxic black smoke when set alight, creating an “immense environmental risk for residents”.

A tyre flipping contest in Newcastle has achieved a new Guinness world record. The event which took place in Blackett Street, Newcastle city centre 14-15 August was sponsored by Continental agricultural tyres and featured a Tractor70 tyre weighing 100 kilos for the men and a 70 kilo CompactMaster AG telehandler tyre for women.

A new world record was recorded for the men’s 100 kilo 12-hour tyre flip with a distance of 10.725 kilometres becoming the new benchmark.
